Cathy Hayes

Cathy (she/her) has experience across a variety of sectors and presentations. Known for her passion, positive attitude, and ability to motivate others, she is eager to be on your team.
Cathy works with adults, children and young adults, using a variety of methods such as CBT, CPT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy. She works with clients from all backgrounds, and any gender.
Cathy uses techniques to help people suffering from a range of mental health issues including mood and adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar, adjustment disorder and many more.
She feels passionately about working with people on increasing their self-esteem and assertiveness skills and working with couples to rebuild and strengthen relationships.
Cathy is currently on the track to become a Certified Gottman Therapist and uses the Gottman Method in all of her relationship counselling, both with individuals as well as couples. She also runs several group programs for relationships and just loves helping others to connect in healthy ways.
Cathy is also an AHPRA board approved supervisor and provides individual and group supervision to provisional psychologists, early and late career psychologists, as well as others who work in the mental health industry.
