Current Fees
We provide rebated sessions through Medicare and Private Health Insurance, or fully funded sessions under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Victims Services, Work Cover (SIRA), for military personnel, veterans and their families (Open Arms & DVA). We also provide EAP services for a number of organisations and have some ability to cater to other funding bodies if appropriate.
As our focus is on wellness, we want to make sure you are receiving the very best treatment for your needs. Fees therefore are charged to ensure we have the capacity to work with you in a tailored way, with quality in mind. Fees cover not only the time taken in session, but the required administration that accompanies sessions (this is one reason that different schemes are different prices), and the ongoing research, learning, professional development and time spent outside of session to ensure you are gaining tailored help with the best possible outcomes.
Please see below for a more detailed list of our fees. Please note that a cancellation fee of 50-100% of the full fee may be charged to clients who have not given notice of their intention not to attend 48 hours before their appointment.

We never want cost to be a barrier, our priority is your wellbeing.
Please be aware that our fees fall below those recommended by the APS guide for a schedule of fees, as we want to be as accessible as possible.
We know however that some circumstances place extreme financial stress on an individual and therefore clients with exceptional circumstances such as referrals from domestic violence services, refuges and homelessness services, fees can be assessed on a case by case basis with some clients being eligible for bulk billing.
If you feel as though you have exceptional circumstances regarding your finances, please talk to your psychologist.
Current Service Fees
Medicare
Medicare funded sessions are typically 50minute sessions with a fully registered clinician. The cost of a 50-minute session in the office is currently between $195-$245. Medicare currently provides a rebate of $96.65 for Psychologists and $141.85 for Clinical Psychologists.
Mind Mode also offers 80minute sessions to clients who may need extra time or feel that they benefit from a longer session. The cost of an 80minute session is currently between $293-$363 with the rebate remaining the same.
Mind Mode also provides ‘in-home’ sessions and walking sessions under Medicare. Please contact our admin staff for more details and prices on these services.
Counsellors & Provisional Psychologists
Counsellors and Provisional Psychologists are not seen under the Medicare Better Access Scheme and therefore are considered ‘private’ appointments. The cost of a 50minute session with a counsellor or provisional psychologist is between $150-$165.
Sessions with our counsellors and provisional psychologists do not attract a Medicare Rebate.

Couples Counselling
Mind Mode Couples Counsellors are all trained to at least Level 2 in Gottman Couples Counselling. The structure and cost of couples sessions will be based on the clinician you are paired with and their method of providing couples counselling. The cost of couples counselling is generally between $220-$350per hour.
Assessments
Mind Mode provides a number of different assessments, including assessments for Autism, ADHD, cognitive functioning, memory issues and more.

Family Therapy
Mind Mode has a number of clinicians providing family therapy, estrangement therapy, and parenting sessions. Please call our admin team today to find out more.
Dietitian Services
Mind Mode has 2 dietitians on board who are each Accredited Practicing Dietitians. They each work with a number of presentations including Eating Disorders, Autism and neurodiversity.
Medicare can be accessed for dietetics if you have an Eating Disorder Plan or Chronic Disease Management Plan, the current rebate provided is $60.35. NDIS funding and other schemes can also be used to cover Dietetics.
An initial session with one of our Dietitians costs between $190-$230 and can last up to an hour.
Follow-up consultations cost between $100-$150.
